Job Description

As a Scrum Master at Noblis you will be part of our Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) team. You will be part of an all-star cross-functional team assisting CMS as they continue their Agile journey using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean concepts. Our Scrum Masters work with teams using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Principles to enhance agility. They facilitate team-level events, coach teams and stakeholders, provide workshops and resolve issues for the team.

Demonstrated learning mindset: Agile Scrum Certification, other Agile Certifications, Lean Six Sigma Certifications, Certified Project Management Professional (CAPM)
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, MS-Project, JIRA, Confluence
Experience in working effectively with IT management and/or program operations staff in implementing process improvements and/or action plans is a plus.
Master’s degree in IT Management, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields is a plus

  • Facilitate team-level ideation sessions using tools such as Mural, SAFe Collaborate, WebEx Teams, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc.
  • Work with diverse teams to develop positive client relationships and innovative solutions to increase our client's productivity
  • Facilitate coordination among various contractor teams and Government team members.
  • Provide support for various fast-paced planning and collaboration meetings, including the management of outlook invitations, preparation of agendas, capture of meeting minutes, tracking of action items, and SharePoint Maintenance.
  • Conduct analysis of processes and developing process and procedure documentation.
  • Client Engagement: · Support and lead evolving business development efforts by applying technical and functional expertise to develop business solutions. · Lead proposal sections for small or limited competition proposals and actively participate in teaming strategy discussions Qualifications:


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Computer Science, Health IT, Business or related field preferred) or equivalent experinece (1 year of education = 1.5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in related functions.
  • Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology-based consulting environment
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to adapt, with willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems, which often extend beyond initial scope of responsibility
